My daughter used to sometimes take her yellow lab to this event. They always had a great time. He was an amazing dog…not used for hunting but certainly had the skills!
Years ago I took Sweet Pea, my dads dog. More than a couple heads turned as I walked around with a Lhasa Apso trotting by my side. We would be handed tons of dog food samples! Buddy and I would go every year, too. His favorite thing to do was the “Big Air” event. He LOVES to dive off the dock! A lot of the dogs that compete in that event are not hunting dogs, just great jumpers. Game Fair has something for everyone.
I don’t hunt or shoot. My husband has guns, but doesn’t do a lot of hunting at all.
Although, we have a LOTof friends you’ll probably run into there. Avid hunter, fisher, outdoor sports enthusiats. Handyman and I would be at the 4-wheeler booths. 🙂
Have fun!!
Just going for the free dog food samples is worth it…..and watching the cool demonstrations. Not so sure I’ll make it this year, Buddy is in no condition to go, and I can’t bear to go without him. But oh, I so want a 4 wheeler…..to put in my Toy Hauler! 🙂
